VISIT TO THE SONAGAS G.E. STAND BY GUESTS INVITED TO THE VI FORUM OF THE AFRICAN PETROLEUM PRODUCERS' ORGANIZATION (APPO)

During the stand visit at the VI Forum of the African Petroleum Producers Organization (APPO), engineer Angel Nguema Kudi gave a presentation on Sonagas G.E., highlighting its fundamental role in the development of gas projects in Equatorial Guinea.
The AMPCO Project, in operation since 2001, and with a production of 900 MT per year, was one of the most outstanding projects. The shareholders are Marathon (45%), Nobel Energy (45%) and Sonagas G.E. (10%). Mention was also made of the LPG Production Project, active since 1997, which produces wet gas mainly destined for the USA and Europe. The shareholders in this project are: Marathon (40%), Nobel Energy (40%) and Sonagas (20%).
This project started in 2007, with a production of 18,000 m°/d and four monthly cargoes. The shareholding in this project is as follows: Marathon (56%), Sonagas (37.93%) and Marubeni (6.067%).
Sonagas G.E.'s presentation underlines its commitment to energy development in Equatorial Guinea and its contribution to the oil and gas sector in Africa.
