On August 15, a key meeting was held at the Headquarters in Malabo between
representatives of the Government of Equatorial Guinea, including the Vice-Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons, the Ministry of Finance, the Treasury, and the companies Gepetrol and Sonagas, with the heads of the English company Vitol. The meeting addressed the financing of gas projects, especially in Block EG27, and the intensification of agreements in exploration, production and commercialization of crude oil.
Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue highlighted the Government's desire to continue strengthening the relationship with Vitol, appreciating the support received during the transition of Block B assets. Vitol, with more than 60 years of experience in the energy sector, will continue to be a key partner for the country.
