At CERAWEEK 2025, the world's leading global energy conference, Sonagas reaffirmed its commitment to Equatorial Guinea's energy transformation. Held from March 10 to 14 in Houston, Texas, the event brought together more than 10,000 participants from 80 countries to discuss the challenges and opportunities of energy, sustainability, and climate change.

Nguema Nsue highlighted the importance of strengthening global relations and underlined Sonagas' role in the energy diversification of the country, seeking new technologies to move towards cleaner energy sources and sustainable.

The conference, which focused on topics such as decarbonization, transitional energy, and energy security, allowed Sonagas to establish key partnerships with global companies, consolidating its role in the evolution of the Central African energy sector. The delegation, which also included key figures from government and industry such as Oscar García Berniko, Director General of Monitoring of State-Owned Enterprises; Jacinto Nguema Owono, Deputy Director General of Sonagas; and Bienvenido Nguema Envo, Director General of Gepetrol; highlighted Equatorial Guinea's commitment to a

modern and resilient energy sector.

CERAWeek 2025, with more than 2,000 companies and 450 senior executives, strengthened its position as the epicenter of the discussion on the future of energy. Through its participation, Sonagas not only gained access to investment and technology opportunities but also strengthened Equatorial Guinea's role in the international energy market.
