In an effort to strengthen tourism development in Equatorial Guinea, SONAGAS GE and the International Tourism Fair of Central Africa (FITAC-GE) held a key meeting to explore a strategic collaboration.
FITAC-GE, which will be held from October 27 to November 2 at the Sipopo Conference Hall, aims to become a leading forum in the CEMAC subregion. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure, it seeks to position Equatorial Guinea as an emerging tourism destination, attracting investors and key players in the sector.
As a leading company in the energy sector, SONAGAS GE reaffirms its commitment to the country's sustainable development, promoting initiatives that contribute to economic diversification. In this sense, its participation in FITAC-GE would represent an opportunity to boost tourism as a strategic pillar of national growth.
The meeting, held on March 27 at SONAGAS, was attended by the Director General of Tourism Policies and President of the Organizing Committee, María Milagrosa Nchama Nzoho Abeso, accompanied by Sebastián Micha, a member of the committee, and representatives of SONAGAS GE, including Francisco Esono Ondo Mangue and Maribel Nsing Ela, Marketing Managers, along with Raquel Goretti Envo Bela, representing the Administration Section. During the meeting, both parties identified collaboration opportunities and explored strategies for SONAGAS GE to support the FITAC-GE Organizing Committee, thus strengthening the drive for tourism in Equatorial Guinea.
This strategic alliance would boost the positioning of Equatorial Guinea as a first-class tourist destination, promoting business and event tourism, attracting investments and reinforcing the image of SONAGAS GE as an actor committed to the country's progress beyond the energy sector.
With this initiative, SONAGAS GE reaffirms its commitment to the growth of Equatorial Guinea, supporting projects that strengthen its international projection and contribute to sustainable and diversified development.
