SONAGAS AND FORMER EMPLOYEES REACH A CONCILIATION AGREEMENT.

On Wednesday, November 2 at 11:00 am, a conciliation session between Sonagas and several former employees of the ship Sonagas 1 took place before an Ad Hoc Commission of the Chamber of Deputies of Equatorial Guinea. The conciliation was intended to resolve a labor dispute related to financial compensation pending since 2018.

The conciliation was intended to resolve a labor dispute related to financial compensation pending since 2018.


Representatives from Human Resources and the Advisory Board were on behalf of Sonagas.

Legal to reach an agreement with the eight employees involved in the dispute.

The Sonagas Board of Directors thoroughly reviewed the case, adjusting the amounts owed,

including the incorporation into the group of former employees of a previously employed worker omitted. Compensation will be paid to the group of former employees in the next

weeks, satisfactorily resolving the conflict.


This step reflects the commitment of the new Sonagas Management to resolve conflicts

inherited and ensure the well-being of its employees, complying with regulations

current labor laws.
