OIL & FUEL ENGINEERING LLC-FZ PROPOSES MODULAR REFINERIES IN EQUATORIAL GUINEA.

OIL & Fuel Engineering LLC-FZ, an Italian company, has submitted a proposal to the Head of State of Malabo to build modular refineries in Equatorial Guinea. The project, which seeks to transform the country's energy sector, was approved for a feasibility study by the Vice President of the Republic, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue.

Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue stressed that the project would not only generate national employment, but would also allow for a reduction in oil prices, with the aim of offering the most economical fuels in the subregion. He also proposed sending an Equatorial Guinean delegation to countries with similar projects and suggested locating the refinery on the mainland to facilitate its commercialization.
