On February 28, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mining Development, Diosdado Nguema Nsang, chaired the closing ceremony of the First Seminar for Wholesalers on the Handling, Storage and Transportation of Gas Cylinders, organized by Sonagas GE and GEOGAM. This event, held from February 24 to 27, aimed to train wholesale distributors in safety practices to ensure proper handling of gas in the country's energy sector.
During the closing ceremony, participants received certificates attesting to the knowledge acquired. Soledad Edjang Masoko, Director of Petroleum Economics, emphasized the importance of continuous training to maintain high safety standards. The Secretary General of the Ministry of Hydrocarbons congratulated the participants and thanked Sonagas GE and GEOGAM (represented by its General Director) for their collaboration.
Francisco Esono Ondo and Maribel Nsing Ela Ada, representatives of the Marketing Department of Sonagas GE, were present supporting the event and reaffirming the company's commitment to safety in gas handling. The seminar also addressed concerns of wholesalers, such as the limitation of licenses and the removal of defective cylinders. In this context, wholesalers requested the installation of a cylinder certification site at the plant.
