On September 24, the African Petroleum Producers Organization (APPO) held its 6th Ordinary Meeting in Sipopo, with representatives from 18 member countries. For more than eight hours, strategies for the sustainable development of the oil industry in Africa were discussed, including financing options and improvements in oil and gas processing.

VI Ordinary Meeting in Sipopo, with representatives from 18 member countries. During more than for eight hours, strategies for the sustainable development of the industry were discussed

The meeting was divided into two blocks: one on the National Companies of Petroleo (CON) and its cooperation, and another focused on technology and development human capabilities. Environmental issues were also addressed, such as the issue of gas and

methane emissions, reaffirming APPO's commitment to the transition energy. In the end, the Republic of Ghana was chosen as the seat of the seventh meeting.


This forum highlights APPO's commitment to strengthening the African oil industry and

promoting a sustainable energy future.
