TECHNICAL DIRECTION

The Technical Department is the technical arm of SONAGAS GE, which executes and formulates the policy on the development of gas projects. To this end, it monitors and controls all the development activities of gas projects for their implementation, in which it is responsible, among other things and according to article 13 of the Internal Regulations approved by the Board of Directors on March 7, 2015, for the following duties:

Analysis and processing of technical data.
Technical participation in negotiations and preparation of contracts and agreements.
Carry out the technical work assigned by the General Directorate.
Project development, execution and control.
Process and evaluate the production data of the participating companies.
Participate in the preparation of work plans and technical budgets for participating companies.
Participate in maintenance work at gas processing and production plants and their derivatives in participating companies.
Technical evaluation of participation company programs.
Carry out periodic technical inspections of the infrastructure and operations of companies supplying hydrocarbons, gas and derivatives.
Propose the names of the section heads of the different sections that make up your Department.
Take charge of the technical operations of shipments involving SONAGAS, G.E. personnel, submitting the corresponding reports to the General Management.
Participate in joint operations, together with operating companies in participation projects.
Other tasks assigned by the General Management. To carry out and execute all these tasks, the Technical Management is provided with a team of highly qualified professionals, headed by a Technical Director, a Head of the Technical Section, an Executive Secretary and a group of engineers from various disciplines.
